Millions of electronics are thrown into toxic piles with no regard for the chemicals within. Workers in third world countries face the consequences as they sift through the ever-growing waste sent by the developed world. However, recycling gives these devices a new life and prevents heavy metals from harming people and the environment.

Why recycle?

Tech consumption has increased exponentially over the past few decades. The average person replaces their phone every 18 months and upgrades their computer every 3 years. This might not seem like much, but electronics contribute over 57 million metric tons of waste every year – most end up in landfills that eventually contaminate the grounds and water. eBridge Recycling was founded to bridge the gap of the digital divide. We provide laptops and services to people in need. Internet access is crucial for education, which has the power to break historic cycles of poverty. We raise funds through our electronics recycling program and community fundraisers.
